One of the products that Samsung has brought to CES 2022 is a cylindrical projector called Freestyle. The 1080p projector is priced at $ 899 and can produce 30- to 100-inch images.
According to Samsung, what is most important about this projector is the ability to carry, rotate, have speakers and voice controls, which creates a unique experience. Weighing in at 830 grams, the Freestyle projector is capable of producing autofocus and autofocus images.
This projector has a 360-degree speaker and, of course, is equipped with a microphone to respond to the user’s voice commands. If you take a closer look at the pictures of this device, you can see an HDMI port and a USB-C port on it. It also seems to have special touch controls as the power button and volume buttons.
The software experience of using Freestyle is similar to Samsung smart TVs. So you will have access to a variety of applications. The device comes with a number of accessories, including a waterproof case, a USB-C battery, and a stand for mounting the projector on the E26 socket.
Given the design and specifications of this product, it seems that the Freestyle projector is more useful for playing TickTak videos than it is for showing Blu-ray movies. This product is probably not designed for people who care about brightness, support for streaming protocols, and other common projector specifications. But due to the high price of the device, we should expect high image quality.
Samsung says pre-orders for the projector have begun in the US market and Freestyle will go to other global markets in the coming months. At CES 2022, the Korean giant unveiled several other products, including its largest curved monitor, the Odyssey Ark.
