‘Black Adam’: First trailer for the DC movie starring Dwayne Johnson

It has been made to beg, but it is here. Dwayne Johnson has been advancing his foray into superhero movies for a long time with ‘Black Adam’, and after much waiting, We finally have the first trailer for the DC movie, where The Rock plays Shazam’s enemy anti-hero.

However, in the film, directed by the Spanish Jaume Collet-Serra (‘The Orphan’), with whom Johnson repeats after ‘Jungle Cruise’, Black Adam will not face the hero played by Zachary Levi, but a supergroup that debuts in the DC Universe: the Justice Society of Americaformed by Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell) and Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo).

As usual with his projects, Johnson has taken a very active role in the film’s promotional campaign, using his social networks to increase the hype of his fans with ads, new images and posters. As a prelude to the release of the first trailer, we have been able to see photos from the shooting, promotional art with first glimpses of DC’s Justice Society of America and now also the first official movie poster.

October in theaters

In addition to Collet-Serra in the director’s chair, ‘Black Adam’ has a script by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Johnson also participates as an executive producer. Rounding out the main cast are Sarah Shahi, Uli Latukefu, Marwan Kenzari, Mohammed Amer, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui.

In addition to the Justice Society, ‘Black Adam’ will feature other antagonists from the comics. Disassociating him from Shazam for now, the film will narrate the origin of his protagonist in Kahndaq, in ancient Egypt, revolving his main plot around his release from incarceration and his fight against the evil criminal group known as the Intergang.whom we also see in the trailer.
